Blood & Sand is a relatively new, members only, restaurant in downtown St. Louis that I photographed for Alive Magazine's November issue. When looking for a spot to photograph owner T.J. Vytlacil in the restaurant I couldn’t resist the herb wall behind the bar. It is possibly one of the coolest design elements I've seen incorporated into a bar. It's both gorgeous and functional.
